🍪 Cookie notice

One essential cookie · No tracking · No analytics · No ads · No banner

Wibble keeps cookies as simple as it gets: a single strictly-necessary cookie that signs you in, and nothing else. Here is exactly what it does — and what we deliberately do not use.

The short version

Wibble uses exactly one cookie, and it is strictly necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in. We do not use any analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Because the only cookie is essential to provide the service you asked for, Wibble does not show a cookie consent banner — none is required.

The one cookie we use

When you log in, Wibble sets a cookie named session. It holds a random sign-in token — not your name, email or password — and it is what keeps you logged in as you move between pages. It is set with HttpOnly (so scripts cannot read it), SameSite=Lax (so it is not sent from other sites) and, on secure HTTPS connections, the Secure flag. It expires on its own, and logging out clears it. Guests who play without an account do not get this cookie at all.

What we do NOT use

Wibble runs no analytics cookies, no advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies, and no third-party cookies of any kind. We do not embed ad-network or social-media trackers, and nothing on Wibble follows you around the web or builds an advertising profile. Game progress and settings are saved in your account or in your own browser's local storage, not used for tracking.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies from your browser's settings at any time. Because the session cookie is strictly necessary, blocking it simply means you will not be able to stay signed in — the games still play, and no other feature relies on a cookie.

Cookie questions & answers

Does Wibble show a cookie consent banner?

No. Wibble uses only one strictly-necessary cookie to keep you signed in, which is exempt from consent requirements, so there is no cookie banner to click through.

Does Wibble track me with cookies?

No. Wibble uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookie is an essential sign-in cookie named “session”.

What happens if I block cookies?

The games still play. The only effect is that you will not be able to stay signed in, because the sign-in cookie is the single cookie Wibble uses.
