Prism Smash is a free online 3D brick-breaker game where you bounce a ball off your paddle to smash glowing neon bricks, and it plays in your browser on a computer, phone or tablet with no download. The board is drawn in real 3D, and a brick's colour and height show how many hits it needs. Each world has four stages of procedurally generated brick layouts and then a boss stage, where a giant grumpy boss block slides across the top, glows pink before it drops a grump cube, and has a health bar to empty across several phases. Every fifth world swaps in a Gem Rush bonus stage: smash all the gold gems before the timer runs out, with no lives to lose. Falling power-ups give a wider paddle, a slow ball, a fireball, laser cannons, a safety net, multiball and bonus points, and after every boss you pick one of three charms that last for the whole run. Choose Rookie, Pro or Ace difficulty. Worlds never end and get steadily harder, combos and multi-brick hits multiply your score, your progress saves at every stage so you can stop and continue, and your best run goes on the leaderboard. It works with mouse, keyboard or touch, and Calm Mode turns off screen shake, flashes and particle bursts. It is a separate game from Wibble's classic 2D Breakout, which is still available.

• Choose Rookie, Pro or Ace. Move the paddle with the mouse, the Left and Right arrow keys, or by dragging on a phone or tablet, then press Space, click or tap to launch the ball.
• Bounce the ball into the bricks. Taller bricks need more hits, and grey steel bricks can't be broken. Where the ball hits your paddle steers it, so aim for the gaps.
• Catch falling power-ups with your paddle for a wider paddle, slow ball, fireball, lasers, a safety net or multiball, but avoid the pink Narrow one.
• Clear four stages, then beat the world's boss block: empty its health bar while dodging the grump cubes it drops after glowing pink.
• Pick one of three charms after each boss, and watch for a Gem Rush bonus stage every fifth world. Worlds go on forever, and your score goes on the leaderboard when the run ends.
